Who we are

My name is Nicole Marino and I am the creator behind PositivelyMystic. I started making divination tools back in 2016 when I discovered that the most accessible ouija board was made from cardboard and manufactured by Hasbro. At the time, there were people engraving ouija board into wood by hand, but at a very high price point. I was determined to make boards that were beautiful, affordable, meaningful, and easy to access online. Since then, this artistic process has led to an effort to encourage creativity and fluidity in spiritual practices and make magick more accessible and easy to understand.

In the last 4 years, PositivelyMystic has led me on many adventures, meeting the most incredible array of people. Here’s a look into that journey.

In The Beginning

Nicole opened an Etsy shop, and began shipping out ouija boards, pendulum boards, and tarot card boxes in the fall of 2016. She was a student at Ithaca College, so all the orders were packed up in her tiny dorm room.
